The AP Custom QL Series of shotshell carriers facilitate the blazing fast shotgun loading method known as the ¡°quad-load¡±. The quad-load utilizes the same basic concept of loading as the ¡°load-two¡± method, except that the shooter grabs four shells at once.
This makes loading easier by turning a fine motor task into an easier gross motor task. It also saves the shooter valuable time in competition by greatly reducing the amount of hand movement necessary to load. The QL requires just a little more practice to reach proficiency than the L2. In fact, in about 15 minutes anyone can reach competition-level speeds.
AP Custom QL Series Shotshell Carriers are 100% CNC machined from solid billet aluminum. They utilize our proven 303 Hi-Yield Stainless steel leaf springs to contain 12 gauge shells of any length. The 303 springs provide both excellent retention and a silky smooth grab.
Additionally, the ease of release allows shells to be quickly and easily loaded into the carriers.
AP Custom QL Series Carriers are hugely popular in 3-gun practical shotgun competitions, and are present at nearly every 3-gun competition in the nation.
This is not to say that our shell carriers are just for competition, as they are also in the hands of military and law enforcement personnel around the world.
